Communication Timeline
- Multiple documented attempts to contact North PR Seafoods regarding the outstanding invoices
- Methods used: Email and phone
- Response received: UPDATED After all previous attempts at communication being ignored, we received the following reply on January 9th 2026: “We are currently unable to get in contact with the skipper that made the purchases in question, and were not made aware of any authorization on our end. We have not received any confirmation with the boat owners authorizing the purchase at the time of purchase, nor any confirmation of product, price, or poundage received.” We believe this to be another delay tactic, as the Vesel is owned by related parties.
Current Status
As of January 2026, payment for both invoices remains outstanding. Despite repeated attempts to engage, North PR Seafoods has continued to delay any meaningful response or clarification regarding the overdue amounts.
Why This Matters
Non-payment after confirmed product delivery can pose significant financial and operational risk for suppliers, processors, and service providers. Publicly documenting verified instances allows other businesses to make informed decisions when evaluating potential commercial partners.
Opportunity to Resolve
North PR Seafoods is invited to contact CB Island Fisheries directly to resolve the matter or provide factual clarification. This notice will be updated if payment is received, the dispute is resolved, or verified corrections are provided.
